John G. Stickle

I'll never forget Stick's smile, and never-ending support of The EHFC. I enjoyed many years flying with and for Stick. He has certainly left many heart-felt memories.

I'll see you in the sky, Stick. Thanks for all the spins, boat rides, waterski towing, but best of all, being my friend for so long.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. He and my dad (John Lloyd) worked at the East Hill Flying Club. Sorry that you and I have lost touch.

Stick was instrumental in putting the EHFC on the road to success. He is remembered fondly to this day by all who knew him!

Stick was one of my primary flight instructors back in the 70's and taught me so much. Always a pleasure to fly with. I will think of him often as I fly the friendly skies!!

I was a teenager when John came to town in`52. He be friended us boys and he became my friend . He was a good man.

Stick was my flight instructor when I got my licence back in the late 70's. He was always kind and had a great sense of humor. Many good times at the club with him!! He will be missed. My deepest condolences to the family
