John and my family had many good times together. He visited our home numerous times when he was on his gallery tours. We all met for dinner and did some painting together at his home on the vineyard. He visited us on our boat many times and we celebrated some good time together. We also collected a number of his paintings which have now been shared with our kids in their homes. He was my friend and artist mentor. His friendship and love for life will be greatly missed. Not a day goes by...

John and our family have been friends with John since the 80s , we have had some great memories together at his home , our home and on our boat. I also a painter had time to work and paint with him . He became a friend and mentor to me. We have collected many of his paintings and they dress our homes every day with joy and great memories. He will be missed and his every loving smile and distinct tone of his voice is imprinted in my mind forever. Anne we all lost a legend and a great talent as...

I grew up in Darien, Connecticut and when back visiting family, we ran into John, who lived there at the time, at Blaikie Hine´s Gallery on the Boston Post Road. We were later invited to the unveiling of the Philadelphia painting at a gallery downtown Philadelphia, as we lived in the suburbs there. John reconnected with us there and we joined him, and friends for a lovely post reception dinner. We moved to Corvallis, Oregon and ran into John at a gallery there. So 3 times, our paths crossed....
