Not sure what to say?

I never met John but his beautiful artwork hangs on my son´s wall - a college graduation gift that I was so proud to give him. I hope it brings a tiny bit of comfort knowing his work is appreciated daily by strangers all over the world. My deepest condolences.

I remember John for his humor, his smile and his talent. He was one of a kind.

I just learned of John´s passing. I proudly own about a half dozen of his artwork. Loved visiting with him in his studio and admiring his work. He would occasionally drive his military jeep to church in Eolia. Great guy! Sad for his passing.

Karen & family, We were honored to have been selected to join John and Karen for French cooking class in Les Arc's. We had the best week of fun, travel, cooking and eating. You were both great hosts. We will never forget this trip as well as your Rotary party at your home. John cast a calm aura to all of us. Peace is now yours!

This is not the way to find out about your relatives. May GOD be with all your family during this time and in the future.

So many happy french memories especially asparagus season which you loved so much, we shall miss you dear friend. Sincere condolences to Karen from Jim and Pauline North.

My heart is breaking. John was a dear friend, art show mentor, and cheerleader. We got through some rough shows together by making each other laugh waiting for rain to stop or crowds to pick up. I´ll miss his smiling face. It was truly an honor to have known John.

I had the good fortune of meeting John through the Art world, doing shows together and even did my first a plein air event with him. I even got to see his studio once. He was such a kind and generous man and a fabulous artist. I had not seen him for awhile and I am so shocked and saddened by his passing. My deepest sympathies to his family at this difficult time.

Such a legend!! We Have his art in our home!!! May he RIP
