Not sure what to say?

Mike and Terry,
Your father sounded like a great man. I enjoyed reading about his accomplishments. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I am a 1970's graduate and had the fun and pleasure of being one of his many students who dearly loved him. I will miss his sense of humor, the flicking of his tie and the sound of the waste basket sent to those who chewed gum in his class. He was very much loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of his teaching, including his stories. My deepest symathy to the entire family.

Very sorry to hear of John's passing. I had recently visited with him at the Legion Hall and he looked fine. I had taught with John at Minnechaug Reg. H.S. in Wilbraham, MA and we renewed our friendship when I moved to Florida about 9 years ago. We visited a couple of times a year at the Legion Hall. He will be missed. My sympathies go out to his family. Marty Barrett, Sun City Center, FL.

I was sorry to read of John's passing. I taught with him at Minnechaug. I couldn't wait to get to the faculty lounge to hear John's stories. He was a wonderful colleague and teacher.
With sincere sympathy,

so sorry to hear of your dad's passing,he was my teacher in 1954 at Cathedral high and he was great all the kids loved him.May he rest in peace.

I am 64 years old ,a parent and grandparent, but Mr Stone was ony one of two teachers who has left a lasting impression on me, "what a guy".My deepest sympathy to your entire family.

I've never met a more compassionate, caring person. John and his many stories will be greatly missed. Heaven has a new Angel watching over us. My deepest & sincere sympathy to the Stone family

There will be an empty chair at the holiday table this year, but it will be filled with loving memories.

I'll remember John's sense of humor and his gift of volunteering at the Venice Public Library. So sorry you had to go so soon. Susan C.
