Not sure what to say?

I knew him as "Jack" and worked with him for many years at American Export Lines at 26 Bway NYC and Dart Lines and OOCL. Jack went to Dart Lines in the World Trade Center and hired me from Export Lines. Thanks to "JacK" he took me to OOCL. He was the fairest person I ever knew working at 3 different steam ship companies. Each year he would have a party at his home and envite some employees to a picnic and arrange to have the ice cream truck come. Jack would walk all the kids to the truck for...

Sincere sympathy to Jane and her family on the loss of Jack. I met Jack and Jane many years ago when walking my dogs passed their house daily. I was always greeted with a big smile and 'how are you today? ' many times I would see them with a new dog that they helped raise for the Seeing Eye. I would see Jack a lot around town and he would greet me with that big smile and remember our morning visits. He was truly a great guy and part of Chatham. I know there's a place in heaven for Jack ...

REST IN PEACE!!!!

CLASS 1959

I first met Jack in 1930 in the second grade of the Allendale public school. We became fast friends thru high school, commuted to NYC on the same morning train. He introduced me to the Ridgewood Gilbert and Sullivan Company in 1948. I became their stage lighting person.
We continued to be best of friends. I last spoke to him last December, my annual Christmas call. We planned a meeting early this year. I miss him.

Jack was an active and loyal KP Alumn and friend who was true to it's motto, Acta-non-Verba. I have been fortunate to have known him through our years at the NJ Chapters. He will be missed by many. Love, Rogo '61

Craig Denecke took Jack to watch the return of the USS Intrepid to Pier 86, Oct. 2, 2008. WONDERFUL day!
