John "Pat" Stromberg

I'm remembering Pat as one of the most likable among a constellation of likable characters at the LDSC (Sailing Club in Davenport). What a sense of humor! He was an adult and I was a child and a newcomer there when our parents joined in 1963. I was fond of him from the very beginning. I don't have any good stories to share here. I just wanted to let the girls know he's remembered as being a good man, good friend, and a fairly good sailor. (Sorry, Pat! Ha-Ha)

Farewell old friend, fair winds and following seas. I´ll always remember Pat´s sailing skill in light air as "Stromberg´s private wind". Thomas Nelson
