Not sure what to say?

I didn't know Mr. Stroo (other than having met him a time or two at the funeral home), but I know his son, John--and Elaine and Christine, John A., and Robert K. They're a wonderful family and John is an excellent funeral director. It was in 1976 that I first met John and his family, the year he built the funeral home. To raise a son who cares deeply about other people and who is dedicated to his family and his profession says a great deal about Mr. Stroo. And so it is with that in mind...

Dear Aunt Marge, John, Glennys and family,
Uncle John was a very special man, a man of God. He blessed me greatly in the years after my Dad died and I will always remember him for that. It is a great blessing that we know the Uncle John is with Jesus in heaven, but you will miss him. I regret that I will not be at his funeral, but I have family and church duties Sunday that prevent me from coming. May God bless you in your grief as He blessed Uncle John in life and in...

Dear Aunt Marge : I am so glad that Mary Esther and I had a wonderful visit with you and Uncle John last Fall. I will be praying for you and family in the days ahead and I am thankful that you are at Sunset Manor. Virginia Stroo Toering

Death is an unwelcome intruder, but our comfort, in life and in death (as the Heidelberg Catechism states) is that "we belong, body and soul, in life and in death, to our faithful Savior Jesus Christ...." John's (and your) friendship, spanning more than half a century, will always be a part of our lives. In your time of sorrow, remember the beatitude spoken from heaven: "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord....They...

To the Stroo family,
You are all in our thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow.
May you be comforted in knowing that your loved one is celebrating with His Lord.I remember going to your store to get shoes and also later doing your trip to Alaska.
Our sincerest Christian Sympathy.
Lovingly
Ken and Pat 7'sma Diekevers

Dear Marge and Family:
I join all of you in celebrating John's entrance into glory. The suffering of old age is over and he is delighting in the Lord's presence. We have all been blessed to have been a part of the STroo family, and you too will continue to experience the Lord's bellessing in your lives.
The Lord's promise to you, Marge, is,"I will never leave you nor forsake you" I'm thankful for you that you are at Sunset. All my love, Agnes
