Not sure what to say?

That is a wonderful tribute to a wonderful man, who lived life to the fullest and contributed so much. I bought my first Samoyed dog from John and became close friends thereafter. Hard to Bieber John has been gone for 7 years. I miss his friendship so much, I can only imagine how much his family must miss him. He once told me I was like a daughter to him. That was one of the best compliments I have ever received in my life time. Miss you so much My Friend!

I am happy to see that "Abie" was a completely successful man. He gave God the thanks for all that he did. Sincerely, Another 1949 Bethel graduate.

We first met John and Joann this winter at Ft. Custer. I will never forget the sight of him standing so stolidly in the woods as the snow fell. We stood by the campfire and talked Samoyeds. As a result I am privileged for one of his beautiful baby girls to be in my life. She is an enormous joy. The day I heard of his illness and then of his death, my world turned on its' axis. He was a wonderful man and a mentor.

We and the Samoyed world will miss John tremendously. Elfie and Jim Shea, Elfenbein Samoyeds

My sincere condolences to Joanne and family.
My association with John was two fold encompassing both Upjohn Worldwide and the yearly O'Leary "shindig" at Jim and Mary Knecht's.
Two different worlds but John was "TOP DRAWER"in both situations. He will be missed by many and admired by all who knew him.
May he RIP in the Kingdom of God.

I have memories of the Studebaker's and playing with the kids at their house at the Upjohn farm on Gull Road and my sister Cindy was friends with Susan and in the same grade at Gull Lake. My thoughts are with the family at this difficult time. Tim Snape

He really wanted to stay so to see John's body betray him was an unbearable pain for his dear family and friends. He lived his wonderful life to the end as his brain did not fail, how would it dare!
John wore a coat of many colors and cast a long shadow that encompassed hundreds if people and left them all better for his rich knowledge and ability to share. He never bored but sometimes irritated as he wanted so much for so many to be all they could be and he would/could push until the...
