Not sure what to say?

I first met John in 1983 in Calif. on a toy commercial for Kenner Toys, I was the guy from Kenner there to make the toys perform properly. I did commercials with John in Calif., Vancouver and NY. over 16 years. We found early we had a connection in that he had gone to camp as a kid in the Adirondacks and I grew up there. One quick story, Shooting a toy commercial in Vancouver, dark studio, with only lights on the kid with the toy, John and I both noticed at the same time something wasn't...

I am sorry to hear of John´s passing. I worked on many commercials with John and his DP Gary Califano in the 1990s, and while the weeks of production (mostly GIJoe toys) were made up of twelve hours, John always kept an energetic and humorful pace. May he rest in peace. Mason Hersey, assistant camera operator.

Time has passed. But he is still missed. He was my best friend, it is lonely without him. Wish I could have you back. Your pal, Jud.

Hi Vicki

Woke up with Johnny in my dream I loved this man He was and still is a huge part of my spirit

Today I told my friend about John's
Firehouse. I googled him and am sorry to hear of his passing.
You see my late husband Bob Sturner was John's first cousin.
They were very close and spoke often.
Bob died in 2009.
My prayers and blessings to Vickie and his children .
Fondly, Diane

Pat Johnson introduced me to Johnny more than 30 years ago and a beautiful lifelong friendship was formed. He was not just a great client, he was a dear friend. I'm pretty sure we never went more than a week without talking in all that time. I don't know how many nights we walked and talked till the wee hours in Telluride or Candlewood, but it was pretty close to all of 'em that we were together! We talked about real estate sometimes, but we talked about family and friends and goals and...

We have lost a kind and compassionate person. It was a joy to know John. We had become good friends and enjoyed each others company. We will always be grateful that we had the opportunity to get to know him better and call him a friend and we will cherish his memory always.
Our deepest sympathy to the entire family,
Ed & Ann Asvazadourian

Johnny had one of the best runs of anyone I know. And he deserved it all. Terry Perrett
