John E. Suhr BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP Joan E. Suhr, 86, of Bethlehem Twp., died Monday, June 7, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She is the wife of James Suhr. Joan was born in Newark, NJ on February 19, 1935 to the late Louis and Sarah (Raymond) MacDonald. She worked as a waitress for 40 years retiring from Ramada Inn in Somerset, NJ. SURVIVORS In addition to her loving husband of 28 years; children: Peter Gerwer (Susan) of Benton, Joan Swensen (Alan) of Palmer Twp., Dennis Gerwer (Marion) of N.C. and John "Jack" Gerwer (Barbara) of Manchester, TN; brother: Raymond Dowches (Kimico) of Manville, NJ; 8 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased by a son: Joseph Gerwer and grandaughter: Candice Gerwer.
