Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry at the loss of Dr. Susac.
I was fortunate enough to be under his care from 94 until his retirement. He always had a very calming effect on me regardless of my health worries.

One time he mentioned to me that one of his best liked poems was "A peck of Gold" by Robert Frost. He was a true scholar, a real Golden boy and the best man I have ever known. I am grateful to his wife and family for sharing him with us.

We just learned about Dr. Susac's passing.
Dr Susac treated my wife for a eye disease, he was a wonderful Doctor and person. We all lose something when some one like him passes.
Our deepest condolences to his family and to his staff.

As one of Dr. Susac's patients, I just recently learned of his untimely death. I was very saddened to hear of his death. He was such a warm and loving man. Visiting his office was always a pleasurable experience due to the kind nature of him and of his staff. I will never forget all that he did for me with illness. My deepest condolences to his family and to his staff. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man and I know he will be greatly missed. I was honored to have known him.

Lois and famiy: I had the privilege of growing up with you all. We had a lot of fun in Powhatan. I knew Buster was destined for greatness with all that knowledge he demonstrated. Buster was my first date in high school. I was crazy about him, but you got him......Let me extend my sympathy; he was taken much too soon. May God give you all comfort and peace.

To the Susac family:
I was saddened to learn about the untimely death of John Susac.
I first met John when I was a neurologist
at the Madiagn Army Hospital in Tacoma,
Washington in 1971, Susequent to that I
have met John at many of the American
Academy of Neurology meetings. I heard
him speak about Susac Syndrome at the
American Society of Neuroimaging a couple
of year ago. When I took my Neuroimaging
examination, there was a question on...

What a great man. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.

What a wonderful person, and doctor we have lost. Dr. Susac found the answers for me, and helped get me on the right track fighting MS. He will be missed..

Dr . Susac saved my life. He did not give up on me for over four years trying to find the problem. It was his mentor in Bascam Palmer-Miami that he sent me to that finally found I had Lymes Diease. Unheard of in Fl. at the time. Gods blessings to his family. Awesome man & Doctor. Sue Ramer

I was a "long-distant" patient of Dr. Susac. He helped diagnosis, write protocol and checked in with me over the last 11 years as I have been struggling with Susac Syndrome. No one in my area understands this illness and he was always there to educate, direct and correspond with me and my treating physicians. He will be greatly missed and my thoughts and prayer go out to his family.
