Not sure what to say?

About eight years ago,John and I built a very strong base for an outdoor birdbath for another dear friend.I dug around a flower garden, nailed together the wood frame. When it came time for us to mix the cement, John had about twenty or more bags of mix. I knew that what we built that day for Evie was a long lasting friendship built with a powerful base of strenght and love. John was a wonderful friend and mentor, and I miss him, but I know he is risen. GOD bless friendships! Steve Odziemek,...

John was one of my favorite patients to come to my work at Avamere Eugene Rehab. He was always playing the harmonica for the residents and making people laugh. He entertained people, talked with everyone, was so accepting and fun to be around. He was such a pleasure and will always be in my heart.

What a facinating, interested person you were John! You knew no strangers, and used your beautiful singing and harmonica personality to bring joy to others. My aged mother was one of those people, and you spoke at her funeral, speking highly of her and her inner beauty. I loved to visit with you John, to experience your fine mind and your interest in all things alive. I will miss you dear friend.

I knew John from transporting him to the VA Hospital. by mini bus. He always made it a point to be in the atrium at noon, where he sang the National Anthem.
He drew a big crowd and always got an ovation.
We loved John He was special.

You always cared about how I was doing - and my family.

Thank you John!

Please accept our deepest sympathies.

John will be greatly missed. He was always interested in how I was doing and my children. I grew up with his singing of the National Anthem at swim meets. He really enjoyed life and shared that with others.

You will not be forgotten, old friend.
