Anytime I had occasion to meet John he always made me feel special. Always asked about my family. Always made me feel special. He was special.

I was employed by Sutherland Lumber Company for several years. Had many opportunities to associate with John and his family for business purposes. He always made you feel he was interested in you and your family. Had a way to make you feel special any and every time he was around.
He and his family are special to me and to my family.
My condolences the Sutherland family.

I was hired by John Sutherland in 1970 and continue to work for the company to this day. John was a gentleman and an inspiration to all that met him. He will be dearly missed by his family and by all the employes of the company he built. Rest In Peace, John.
