My condolences to the family. John was my boss' boss before he retired and I will always remember him as a great leader and a good man. I was saddened to learn of his premature demise, but comforted to read in the obituary that he went to his Heavenly Father. May God bless you and comfort you all in this time of sorrow. I'll never forget Big John.

Goodbye to John, the great boss, mentor and friend! May God rest your soul in peace and give strength to Ellen and Brandi at this time of loss and sorrow!

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Sutley. I worked at Nalco in Sugar Land when he was the "big boss man" there and he was a true Southern gentleman. He cared about his employees and was held in the highest regard by everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Hi Ellen, you may not remember me, but John was always a good Nalco friend, I have many fond memories of him at meetings over the years.
I greive for your loss, but also know you to be a strong gal.

Dear Ellen and Brandi, dear family.
We are shocked by John's death, far too early. We have a lot of very good memories to John, especially the years in Paris and Leiden. He was a very appreciative person and manager to wordk for and with.

We wish to express our condoleances.

Very warm regards,
Herman and Marianne Brinkhoff
District and Company Manager Nalco Netherlands
Director EH&S Nalco Europe

My condolences are extended to the Sutley family.
I enjoyed working and talking with John as a Nalco employee.

I knew John and worked with him occasionally on Employee Relations matters. I found him to be compassionate, fair-minded and an honor to work with. Please accept my sincere condolences as you deal with what must be a real loss in your lives.
