Dr. John Perry Sutton Jr.

I had the opportunity and privilege to work for Dr. Sutton as a surgical scrub at Providence Hospital in the early 1970's. We had a good relationship and he always had an appreciative word when we would conclude a surgical procedure. I had great respect for his surgical expertise and for him as a friend. Rest in eternal peace, John.

It was a decided benefit for many of us to have had opportunity, in various capacity, to assist Dr. Sutton mend ailing hearts! He had a capacity to size-up, approach, and re-order nearly any unwonted finding! ...and always calm...No One...ever saw him sweat! I am grateful to have been 'any kind of player' on his team!!
