I am a friend of John's son Mark. We hung out quite a bit in high school at the Svoboda family home. John would almost always pop down, crack a few jokes, and most of the time buy us Godfather's Pizza. He had me at pizza, but he went the next step to show us he was interested in us as people. He was a very good guy, and he will be missed.
