Dear Swains,
I was out of the country when Jack passed, so was unable to convey my sympathy in person. I hope that your many memories of his long and interesting life and the love that your all share will help sustain you in this time of loss. I hold you all in my heart and send you much love,

Dear Swain Family -
I am so sorry for your loss. Although I didn't get to know your dad until his last few months, I realized immediately from his demeanor that this was a guy who lived!! Knowing that I was a new nurse, your dad always had a kind word for me and everytime he saw me, asked how I was enjoying my new career. He will be truly missed!

Swain Family,
I will miss seeing your father at Castle Park. I always thought he was a gentle giant. When I was younger he seemed sooo tall and, as I aged I realized he was still tall! He always had kind words. That is a great memory!

Swain Family,
We're all going to miss your Brother, Dad, Grandfather! He was an amazing guy who always had something nice, something positive, and something funny to say.
I especially enjoyed listening to him share memories when Jack visited my Dad while he was recovering from heart surgery. The things those guys remembered while growing up together!
