I was very saddened to hear of the loss of your dear husband and father. I had the

pleasure of meeting hisself on the Kerry List and enjoyed many years of banter and Irish wit.
A true Gentleman, he always had a kind word.
We will miss him and his yearly recipe for his Aunt's Irish Soda Bread.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family at this time of sorrow.

I'll be praying for the family. It was a honor to know Jack and his great sense of humor via the Kerry list. There were many a day when Jack's emails would give me a much needed laugh. I'm sure he's now crossed his t's and dotted his i's on all his genealogy and is thrilled to meet them all in Heaven. God bless!

I was shocked and saddened to read of Jack's passing. We had communicated quite a bit over the years and I felt that I knew him and his family as well as I know my own. I will miss the connections we established. My sincere condolences to Barb and the family.

Barbara and all the Sweeney family,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved Jack.

My one regret, I never actually met Jack in person.

We exchanged many e.mails over the years, sharing our stories, and anything County Kerry related.

He will be missed

Jack was loved across the world via the Kerry genealogy site. He became larger than life to his fellow posters. It was a pleasure to "know" him and to benefit from his wit and positive outlook on life.

Our deepest sympathies to you, Barbara, and to your children.

Thank you for sharing Jack with us.

I've been reading the Kerry List for several years and enjoyed reading his lighthearted comments. He will be missed...

Thank you Jack for the knowledge and wit you gave to the Kerry list as well as the soda bread recipe. You will be remembered each time I bake it. Deepest sympathy to your wife and family and many thanks to them for sharing you with us. A truly great man.
