Dear Kathy and family, Ro & I want to express our deepest sympathy on the passing of your husband John. We are currently in Florida and won't be able to attend the services. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family and John. Fran & Ro Aiello

I had the opportunity of knowing John as a fellow coach at NCC for the past 25 years. John was a gentleman and a man of character. To say he touched the lives of many young men at NCC would be a profound understatement. John was one heck of a coach.
My deepest sympathy Kathy, Kevin and the Sweeney family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Sweeney family. John and I worked together for many years at Mack Printing. John was just a great individual who gave more than he received. He will be missed by many.

With our Deepest Sympathy to you Kathy and family. May John Rest in Peace. I know he will be deeply missed by his wife and family as he was always out for a good time and loved being involved with Baseball for many many years. Take care of yourselves and may you continue to enjoy all that John would want you to in Life as he was taken from this life far to young. Love Terri Ray and Griff

My condolences to Kathy and family,
It was a pleasure knowing John during his stay at Slate Belt nursing center. Kathy you showed the great love you had for your husband during his time of illness. I didn't really know John had so many accomplishments as a baseball coach as he showed his humbleness. Most people would brag about these achievements. I'm also thankful John let me have the opportunity to pray with him on occasion. I will pray for you all to be strong during John's...

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss Kathy. John was a wonderful man.
I was previously an Athletic Assistant for NCC, and had the pleasure of working with John for 4 years. I loved his sense of humor and he could always bring a smile to my face. He will truly be missed.
I too lost a loved one 4 months ago, so I can imagine the pain you are going through right now. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your...

Our deepest sympathy to Kathy and the Sweeney family. Coach Sweeney was a great guy that touched many lives - and was a great mentor and friend. He gave me my first opportunity to coach in college - and, for that i will always be grateful. He had a fantastic sense of humor and knew how to not take things so seriously - and keep things in perspective - especially winning and losing. He will be missed - but, he will remain forever in the hearts of many - and, will always be a part of my life...
