John (At Xerox first, later as Venue and Envos) supported my InterLisp-D development team from Rank Xerox In France and later inside Paralax Software Technologies till 1994 (We were Huge consumers of Lyric, Koto and finally Medley environments). I met John at Venue in the USA during our project to port Medley on Silicon Graphics workstation for Control Data Corporation. John was a very skilled and available partner.

I worked with John only a few years very recently. I found him smart, friendly, and with a dry wit. We shared many a laugh at work. I will miss working with him.
