Not sure what to say?

It is hard for me to imagine John being gone for 11 years now. I was John and Ediths only grandson. I miss them tremendously I was 19 when John died and Edith died 5 years later. I will always cherish the many memories I have of them. One memory I have of my grandfather is I refused to eat a casserole my grandmother cooked so he told me if I ate it that it would grow hair on my chest. And I believed him I have never been picky about eating anything since.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family as you remember your love one. May God provide comfort and ease your sorrow through the power of prayer and the hope of his Kingdom to come with all of it's promises. Matthew 6:9, 10; Daniel 2:44

Dear Edith,
It doesn't seem that long ago that your daughter passed away. I knew you at the Children's Center. I'm very sorry to read of the passing of your sweetheart. He sounds like he was a wonderful man.

I have fond memories of my time at the C.C. and am grateful for the experience I gained there.

My sincere condolences to you and your family.

Sincerely,
Heidi

I thought he was about the tallest person I had ever met. He was always extremely nice to me. I learned to appreciate his dry sense of humor, but I have to admit, at first I was a little scared. I remember John bringing home stacks of computer cards. Remember those little cards with the many holes in them that ran...
