John Henry Talbert

I HAD THE GREAT PLEASURE OF KNOWING JOHN HENRY AS WELL AS GRADUATING FROM THE SAME CLASS WITH HIM IN 1973. EVERY TIME I HAD SEEN HIM SINCE HE WAS ALWAYS PLEASENT AND FRIENDLY. I AM SADDENDED BY HIS PASSING AND WILL GREATLY MISS HIM. MY PRAYERS AND BEST WISHES GO OUT TO HIS FAMILY AND THE MANY FRIENDS HE HAS. I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM.

God is wecloming John Henry to that great lifeguard station in heaven. You were a good person and are now watching over us still on earth.

Mr. Talbert was a great man who always wore a smile. On behalf of the St. Paul's basketball team of 89-90 our thoughts and prayers go out to Shane and the rest of the family.

John Henry was a good friend and I'll miss him. Sorry to hear of your loss.

Our son Joe went to school with Shane at St. Paul's and we watched John give his time to coach these kids all thru grade school. We always appreciated that from him and send our deepest sympathy to Shane and Family...RIP

I have known JH for quite a few years, and was very shocked to hear about his passing, as was everyone else who knows him. He was very well known, and respected by many. My thoughts are with Deb and the family at this time. God Bless all of you!

John Henry Talbert was already an "Old Salt" of the ARCVLSC when I arrived on the scene in 1980, and somebody who gave much to the Life Saving Corps. I remember John Henry was continuously involved in projects meant to improve the Station, equipment, or the lives of the membership. Rest in peace John Henry Talbert, your memory lives with us.

John Henry, a good man with a good humor to boot. Always had a grin and a laugh to share. Last saw him @ 4 months ago. We exchange words and told some stories. He will be missed.
