Not sure what to say?

Ingrid, my sincere sympathy. I want to let you know I'm thinking of you. I hope you and your family find comfort in the loving memories that you share.

It's been a very long time since we have had a Tangarone reunion or a Christmas party. I remember the love and fun we all had together.

When I think of John I remember his voice, there was such a soft, loving cadence to it, like my father,Ted.

I know John will be sorely missed.
My love and thoughts are...

My sympathy to the Tangarone family~

I worked with John at Captain Nathan Hale school right after I graduated from college between 1972 and 1977. I was thinking about him two days before I read his obituary - imagine that! 29 years after I last had seen him.

His passion about science and compassion was an inspiration. He touched the lives of many children, and this colleague as well.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Llynda we have only begun to dance, you and I, getting to know one another through our chats and mail. I never got to meet your Dad, I have only gotten to know him through you. But I think your Dad lived his life large, he made every last breath and beat of his heart count so I leave this for you, for him, and for your family with love and my prayers.

To live or die is that all
is there not more than that
than just each breath or beat of heart
Should we die between...

John was always one of my favorite cousins. I looked forward to hearing stories about his band. While many years have past since our last family reunion, I treasure his sense of humor and love for the family. My heart goes out to Ingrid and all of his family.

Llynda and family,
What a wonderful, talented man you were blessed to share! My heartfelt condolences and sympathies to you all. Jo (y! Mahjong)

I first had the pleasure of meeting John Tangarone back in 1973 as my 5th grade Science Teacher at the Captain Nathan Hale School. Mr. Tangarone can be credited with sparking my interest in rock collecting, something I was able to pass along to my son Shaun.

That very same year I also met another Tangarone, John's son Steven. I have been honored with Steven's friendship over the past thirty-three years. (Thirty-three years with more laughs than can be fit into a rubber...

The von Paternos family met John through Center Church and knew him to be a warm, compassionate individual and will be missed by all. We extend our most sincere and deepest sympathies to the Tangarone family.

I have warm memories of Mr. Tangerone as a teacher. Fifth grade at the "big new school" with it's lockers and the "big kids" in the hallways was a daunting prospect for many children. He was particulalry kind to me and I appreciated it. Teachers like Mr. Tangerone who were willing to teach science in a unconventional style made the experience far more interesting. I remember really looking forward to Mr. Tangerone's class and particularly the chalk board. I remember, too, laboring over...
