Not sure what to say?

My wife and I worked "with" John not "for" him in the late 70's and early 80's at Flagship Bank. John was a caring manager of people expecting only what he would ask of himself. The years we spent with John led to our ability to grow professionally. Many blessings and prayers to John's family. John and Deni George

Sally and I were very sorry to hear of John's passing. John and I were colleagues when he first arrived in Tampa at what was then the Marine Bank of Tampa many years ago. Tennis was something we shared together on the occasional but memorable outing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
Sally and Scott Newbern, Tallahassee, Florida

I want to express my deepest sympathies to you, Ruth and your family for your great loss. You can be comforted, knowing how much John appreciated your love. I know how much you will all miss him. A great wave of love reaches out to you; I hope you can feel it.

I extend my sympathies to the family of John Tapley. He was my "boss" at SunTrust - Trust Department from his first day there, in 1976, until I moved to Brooksville in 1981. He was an example of a true leader and mentor to all who worked with him. A gentlemen to the highest degree. My respect for him is "over the top".

What a pleasure to have known John Tapley! As Anne's friend, I witnessed his love and devotion to his children and his grandchildren. My deepest sympathy to Ruth and his entire family as they mourn the loss of such a wonderful man.

John was instrumental in my being hired by Sun Bank after i took early retirement from First Florida. We worked very closely together until his retirement.I greatly admired him and he will be missed by many. Nancy and I always enjoyed visiting with you and John.

It was wonderful knowing John, he was always so kind, my heart goes out to Ruth and their children and grandchildren
John will surely be missed and remembered with fondness

To the family of John Tapley. As a former employee I have fond memories of working together with "Mr. Tapley" and often delighted in his humor. Sending sincere condolences for your lost.

There are not enough words to say about my dad who was so deeply loved and who gave so much to all. I will miss him every day for the rest of my life.
