Not sure what to say?

I am so sad to recently hear of the passing of John. I met John in a care facility where my parents were staying. He sung Christian songs to my mom, to cheer her up and prayed for her, after my dad died. My mom passed a few weeks later and then he encouraged me through my grief. He was an extremely special man who loved the Lord. There is no doubt where he is today. My condolences to his son and entire family.

A man who took the time to show love and acceptance to all in his path, Giant-hearted.

I had the pleasure of getting to known John through the YMCA. This photo is a very vivid memory of every time I saw John. His smile brightened the darkest corners and his love for others was evident. I have missed my conversations with him since I moved and I will always be thankful for his friendship.

Dearest John, I love you and will hug your neck in heaven! There will probably be long lines, but I don't mind waiting.

Rest in peace brother. John, you did a great job as a Charter Member of Phi Sigma Delta fraternity at UMass Amherst. You provided fine leadership as President in 1958-59. Sixty-six years of friendship. Adios, Steve Sackmary Austin, Texas

So sorry to read of John's passing. Always thought he was fun and sweet. Sympathy and prayers to all of you. Myrna and family
