John Allen was my first "boy friend" in Monahans, Texas. We were 8 years old. Mrs.Taylor would pick me up and drive us to the Saturday morning double feature on Main Street. Attended school with John Allen in Monahans and ElPaso. He was a friend all those years. We spoke of him often at our 60th high school reunion recently. It sounds as if life was good to him. He will be sorely missed by family and friends.My sincere condolences to all. I understand how difficult it is to lose a loved one. I lost my husband in April.
