Read MoreI met John through Judy when we were young and living on State Street in Portland and he was teaching at Westbrook College. As I recall Judy was his student. That beautiful smile and somewhat shyness is what I remember. This was in the early 70's and we lost touch after they married and moved to Westfield. We visited once after attending their wedding. Judith, So sorry to learn of John´s death. My condolences. I only knew John in passing, but Joe and Louise were very near to my heart. Joe hired me part time when I was stationed in Windsor in the navy. He and Louise were my second parents. They were one of the few at Anne and my wedding in 1972. They were the nicest folks ever.
