TEMPLE, John William - Of Fenton, age 52, died Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM Saturday, September 10, 2005 at St. John Catholic Church, 600 North Adelaide in Fenton, Father David Harvey officiating. Burial in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Fenton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for a scholarship fund to be set up for John's children. Visitation 11AM-3PM and 5-9PM Friday at St. John Catholic Church Activity Center, and 10AM Saturday at the church until the time of the Mass at St. John Catholic Church, 600 North Adelaide in Fenton. A rosary will be prayed at 7PM Friday evening at the Activity Center. He was born in Flint, Michigan on November 22, 1952, the son of Jonathan and Elizabeth Temple and was a resident of Fenton for most of his life. John was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Fenton and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #7418. He loved spending time with his children and granddaughter. Mr. Temple retired from Delphi and was a member of UAW Local #651. Surviving are loving companion, Sandra Trepanier; 5 children, Stephen and wife Jody of Swartz Creek, David of Flint, John, II, Aaron and Nathan, all of Fenton; granddaughter, Sarah of Swartz Creek; parents, Jonathan Temple of Flint and Elizabeth Temple of Clio; 4 brothers, Donald of Clio, Thomas and wife Laura of Fenton, Ronald of Kansas City, Missouri, Robert and wife Susan of Fenton; 3 sisters, Jean and husband Virgil Richert of Swartz Creek, Denise and husband Joseph Sanders of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Teresa and husband Sabastian Riggs of Clio; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and 4 uncles.
