Not sure what to say?

As a patient, neighbor and mentor John altered the course of my life by demonstrating kindness, courtesy, enthusiasm and healing. He took a clumsy 12 year old boy fly fishing for trout and the trajectory of that day is still under full power and going around the globe. I still own the 8 hand tied flies he gave me -prized possessions and one of the few sentimental things I still carry from that day, 48 years ago. Thank you John. I remember you often.

Dear Onnie- I am so sorry for your loss. Everyone whoknew your Dad said he was such a remarkable person. I am sorry I nver had occasion to meet him. He will be missed by many. I hope you can find comfort in the love and memories he left for you.
with warmest regards,
Claudia and Jim

To Noah, Onnie and All,

Dr. John made a difference in my life that I find indescribable. My brother, Dr. James Bullock, introduced me. I thank God every day that I was able to find someone who was able to heal others in such a remarkable way. Truely a gift.
I hold your loss close to my heart.
Sincerly, Mia, Jessica, Stephanie and Pat Glasgow

As author Steven Stiles stated, "God made death so we'd know when to stop." Now Dr. Thatcher may begin to reap the rewards of eternal life.

Thank you Onnie for introducing me to your dad. Dr. Thatcher maintained a professional poise and skill that allowed patients like me to enjoy a better life without pain. A man that truly believed in what he was doing - earning him respect and the trust of thousands from around the world.

My family is grateful for his sharing...

Dear LaVerne & Family,
We were saddened to hear of the death of Dr. John. He was one of a kind and treated his patients including us with such individual, loving care. He was one of the few who truly loved his vocation.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you. This has been a long discouraging struggle and now Dr. John is at peace.

Vanessa,
Our most heartfelt sympathies are with you right now at this difficult time. John was truly a great person. I was never a patient, however I saw how he his passion to heal and help people live a painfree, more productive life was evident everytime we talked. I also could see how much he loved you. Whenever the three of us discussed things and made decisions together, he made it clear to me that his first concern was how these decisions would affect you and your life. You and...

Sorry to hear about Dr. John's passing. He made the world a better place for so many people. All his patients, colleagues, friends & family will miss him.

Sincerely,

Adele Poitras

Dear Maggie:

I don't know you as LaVerne, but as Maggie. I was so sorry to hear about John. When I was in law school I spent many a day in his office getting help with my painful back problems. He always made me feel special, and insisted on greeting me with: "Hello, counselor!" even when I was a lowly first year law student. He encouraged me in my studies, was always positive and caring. He made a difference in my life. Mark and I are so sorry for your loss.
