Not sure what to say?

Dear Thomas Family - I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Jack. He was a great man and a fine American and patriot. My family has been his neighbor since 1986...we all will no doubt miss his truly interesting character. My deepest sympathy. Semper Fidelis. LtCol John Wiener, Commanding Officer, Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, Camp Pendleton, California

My father, John Seifert, was a member of unit 414L. We are sorry for your loss.

Dearest Vetti, I am so very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Thinking of you and praying for you.

Joyce Kloss, friend and colleague of Vetti at GIS, sympathizes with Jack's family for his loss. What a long and wonderful partnership Vetti and Jack had in their marriage.

David and Joanne Kinsey, colleagues to Vetti Thomas at the Glassboro Intermediate and longtime friends to both Jack and Vetti, offer their condolences and sympathy to the Thomas family.

Aunt Vetti, Uncle Jack will missed. His humor and wisdom were always anticipated when ever he were around. The days of Thomas family fun at the Shack were legendary. You and all of your family are in our prayers.

I will turn home at last once more
Knowing that a true soldier's rest
Once earned is sweet
His peace complete
Who gave until the last his best
