Not sure what to say?

Janet, our deepest sympathy and fond memories of you and Bud attending the St Louis Browns Fan Club dinners. Although he had a very short major league career, Bud was one of "the team". Apparently God needed a Short-stop for Saturday's game and called him up, just like the Brown's did!

The two of you made a great couple. Everyone could tell by the way he looked at you from across the room...." You " were his biggest fan.

Cherish the good Times.

Quick story to share - I spent more than my fair share of time in Mr. Thomas' office at Heber Hunt. Fast-forward 20 years - I'm at the State Fair under a shade tree, elbow deep in a difficult diaper change when I hear someone nearby, laughing out loud. He walked up and said "that makes my day, now we're even". He patted me on the back and walked away, still laughing. A great man, he will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Thomas. I remember his as a friend of the family, a respected principal, and an excellent athlete who always had a smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Thomas and family. Jack Cook

Mr. Thomas was one of my baseball coaches and my mother-in-law (Mary Gardner's) principal at Hebert Hunt. He was highly respected by both of us. Our condolences and prayers to all of his family!

Bud came into my life during my 5th grade year. We shared many fond memories. Janet, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

We wish to offer our most sincere and heartfelt condolences to the immediate family, all other relatives, his many baseball friends and comrades and to his large number of associates both in baseball and in his scholastic life upon the departure from the scene of JOHN ' BUD ' THOMAS ...

While his playing time in Major League Baseball was much too short he had a distinguished time in sports as well as life itself and will be missed by many ...

Only God knows how well BUD...

To the Thomas Family:

I knew Mr. Thomas as a baseball player.

From what I have read he was a very SPECIAL person in the education field.

Asking God to shower your family with many blessings in the days ahead.

Janet, I pray for you and Bud's entire family. I enjoyed reading about his very fulfilling life. I will be saying special prayers tonight for Bud in heaven. Xo

My condolences to Bud's Family.
