To Betty and the boys; I met John in 1958(?) at the Here Tis drive-in on South Division Avenue (3100 block) in Grand Rapids. His car caught my, and everyone elses too, eye. It was a black "57 Ford with correct-colored flames coming out of the front wheel wells. The body was lowered. The engine was "poked", and the rough running and high idle speed said the camshaft was not stock.
