So sorry to hear of Johnny's passing. We grew up together in Maplesville going from the 1st through 12th grades and played on the same football team. When we were in the 9th grade, the Senior Class planned a trip to Washington, D.C., on the Southern Railway but they needed two more to help pay for the trip. Sympathies to the family of J. P. He was a great guy and my best boss at Norfolk Southern. I was his office manager and worked with him several years in Birmingham.
