Not sure what to say?

I met John the first year we moved to Rice Lake Wisconsin. He regaled me with stories of his father's travels in our county. His father sold patent medicines and also practiced doctoring ( without license ) in the area until he was chased out by local law. John was definitely a character. He also spoke of Janis very warmly and I deeply regret not getting our conversations on record. He was so charming and I will miss his stories. RIP John.

John Till's Grandmother, Victoria, was my mother's (Nellie McCully) best friend. They visited often and I still have a picture of John, as a toddler with Victoria and John Sr. I was sorry to hear of his passing. May he rest with God.

To the family, many, many friends and colleagues of this nice man Mr. John Till fine comfort with you during this difficult time in your lives. Mr. John Till was the lead guitarist for the Full Tilt Boogie Band which was Janis Joplin’s last backing band. May the love and the special memory you shared and cherish with him show just how much your life was touched by him. May you find comfort in your wealth of fond memories together with Mr. John Till. May the God of comfort bless your grieving...

John taught me his gift of guitar. Just like the Circle of 5th's, the Circle of Life, the end of one journey is the beginning of the next. God speed John and thank you for sharing in my life. I will see you again one day under the spotlight God has reserved for you. Until then you ill be greatly missed. Wishing the Till family peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow.
