Not sure what to say?

He was my company commander in Fort Riley KS and in Iraq. He promoted me to Specialist the day before he was killed. I wear a wrist band with his name on it.

He was my commander. I was his supply guy. He will always be truly missed

To John's Family,
We remember what a great husband and Daddy he was. Going for walks with the dog and kids. Either on his back or in the wagon. Always will remember his smile! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the family and friends of Capt. John E. Tipton:
Always remembering John. "Some gave all."

John, may you and all our soldiers never be forgotten for the strength, courage and life you gave for our freedom. May our God in Heaven continue to bless your family and friends today and always.

I was not supposed to have favorites as one of John's ROTC instructors at SIUE, however I did. When I look back at my time at SIUE, a picture of John quickly appears in my mind's eye. Good memories.

To the family and friends of Capt. John E. Tipton:
Please accept my remembrance of John on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

In remembrance of Capt. John E. Tipton K.I.A. May 2, 2004. Al Anbar Province. Iraq

John with Austin and Kaitlyn.

I think of John often and I know he is watching over his family from above. His memories live on in his son Austin and daughter Kaitlyn. John is a true hero and we will always miss him. His wife Susie is also a hero for all that she does to keep his memory alive.
