Not sure what to say?

John, Your family has been entwined with mine all of my life, personally and professionally. Your Dad's influence over my Father and their combined influence on me, has made me the successful banker I am today. Their legacy of faith in God, committment to family, excellence in work, integrity and service to others can be seen in both our families today. What great childhood and adult memories I have of being with your Dad and Mom! Briggs told me early in my career, "Kay, If you put out your...

Our hearts go out to all of the Todd family from ours. Mr. Todd was an outstanding man and friend to everyone. He helped so many people and it is an example of what a good heart he had. He will be truly missed but also never forgotten. God bless all of your family and Mr. Todd.

Dear John and family,

My deepest sympathy to all of you. You've lost a father and I've lost a dear, dear friend. My prayers are with all of you. I wish I could come up for his memorial service, but I'm unable to.

I send my love to all of you.

I am so sorry for the great loss of Mr. Todd. My condolences go out to his entire family as well as his bank family. He lived an amazing life with major accomplishments. I wish I would have had the opportunity to have known Mr. Todd. What an extraordinary man. I am extremely grateful for the bank he founded and the incredibly wonderful family that I have been so blessed to work with for many years. My love to all of you during this difficult time and always. Praying that God will give you...

John and family
Saddened to hear of Mr. Todd's passing. He was highly thought of by our family. Our sincere condolences. God bless you all during this time.

Briggs had such an inspiring atmosphere when he was near. My Mother thought the world of him and felt privileged to have known him and been a part of his family. Gilmer and the other places he touched are better because of Briggs’ association.

I have heard many great stories about Briggs and your family from my friend, Kay (Stephens) Berry. May all your happy memories comfort you during this time. I know you will miss him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Much love, Bill and Gayla Neal

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

My dad did business with Mr. Todd many years ago at the First State Bank of Abilene. He was a respected banker. I know he will be missed.
