Not sure what to say?

RADM Tolmie came across my mind this morning out of nowhere. So, I decided to look him up on Google. I will keep the warm memories of this most kind mentor in my heart and mind - always. Thank you for setting me on my life's journey - it has been and still is a wonderful life.

Remembering what a shining example of caring and teaching he was to so many in all aspects of his life. What s blessings to have know him and be in his presence.

How I regret that I did not keep in contact with you over the years since our time on the Flag Council and relieving you as the Fleet Surgeon Atlantic Fleet so many years ago. You were a good friend and mentor as well as a true gentleman.Thank you.

I admired John as much as I admired my precious father who recently passed. John and Joan took me under their wings when we first moved to Mooresville and my husband went to Iraq. He was larger than life and he made life larger for everyone he came in contact with. We are better people for having known him.
