Linda, Mary, and Patty, so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. There are so many good memories of growing up on Fulton street and hanging out at the Toornman house! Your dad was kind and hard working, a real gentleman - always working in the garden. I remember him giving us rhubarb from his garden and eating cherries from your cherry tree. Such a great childhood we all had! Please know that we are all thinking of you - Karen, Chris, Mike, and Robin Lyster

This year is the 70th anniversary of my adventure with John at the A- bomb test on Bikini Island in the Pacific, and also of our cross country road trip driving home from California. John and I are friends from church and joined the Navy together. We took turns as best man at the other one's wedding.

I remember your parents well, was sad to read about your Dad...it never is an easy thing. I remember your Dad always working on the lawn on Fulton St. I lived up the hill, Kim Kean, my parents Sue and Ken Kean. My Dad is with God now too as of a couple years ago. I just wanted to pay my respects and wish you all well in this difficult time.

I was lucky to get to know John when we rode the bus to work at Upjohn in the early '80s. I have fond memories of the kind and intelligent man he was.
