I started going to Dr. Tower when my first daughter was born in 1955. He told me at the time that he had been in Anchorage less than a year. I continued to see him for the other three daughters I had. My daughters also saw him when the grandkids were born. We were always extremely happy with treatment of our children. Belle and Cy Johnson

In addition to the many memorable visits with John and Betsy over the past 20 years, I had the privilege of having John as a hunting partner on two occasions. During our life we infrequently meet people who inspire and influence. Dr Tower was one of those individuals. As a high school and college student / athlete, as a young man Dr. Tower was there with advice, examples, and aperspectives that I have had the benefit of for years.
My condolances to my friends, the family.

I remember bringing Drew into see Dr Tower for a check up. He asked me if Drew had been eating a lot of carrots and sweet potatoes. I said he loves them. He said back off a little he is turning orange. Since Drew has red hair, I had not noticed.

I have such vivid memories of Dr. Tower from my childhood. I remember the time he checked my throat and gave me a hug when I gagged. And, of course, the ear wiggling. You could tell, even as a child, that he truly loved his job and caring for others.

Dr. Tower,
Dr. Tower was very kind to us when we had a serious family problem with one of our children. He was a very caring man. Our condolences to his family.
