Not sure what to say?

I miss you more than you know...even after 10yrs I miss your infectious smile and your big bear hugs Eric Chaske and Jay miss you also and mentions you often in our conversations we love you so much and can't wait until we see you again With Love Your Wife

John was one of the first friends of the family I got to know well when I was a child. He was our next-door neighbor from when I was 8 or so until I was 12 or 13 and was good friends with my mom, Susan Willan. I think he actually made the first piece of jewelry I ever wore, some type of polished abalone or something. Wow, that was a long time ago! He was also one of the first truly good-natured people I ever met, and I'm glad his spirit is appreciated by others as well.

Safe...

John and my husband Norman Crockett go way back working together at Simpson. John gave Norman a ride to work in the early days when they stopped riding the ferry across the Bay. I've heard many stories about his shenanigans some from his own mouth while he and Norman talked about the ole days. He was a good friend, a talented man and there wasn't much he couldn't do if he set his mind to it. He is missed and will remain in our hearts forever.

I think the most that i will remember about John is he always had a smile for everybody,my prayers go out to his family

I worked with J.T. at Simpson. I have good memories of my time at work with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

There are many people in a Woman's life that influence her and make her who she is. Some of those people are family and some are friends and some are teachers who enter into our lives at various times that make lasting impressions and influence the decisions we make. John was one of those people for me. I grew up in Humboldt and moved to SF as soon as I turned 18. My family was there to support me but when things really got sticky once I started dating, my stepfather Norman would step in...

J.T. will always be with me and my family looking over us with all his love, i will never forget him, he has shown me how power a beautiful soul has, how to care, and to always put others first. Thank u J.T. We miss u.

My condolences to John's family. Thank you John for being you.
