I was privledged to meet John and know him beginning in 1992 through membership at Rhode Island Yacht Club. Because of a commitment in Boston this afternoon (Monday) I will be unable to attend his wake. My sincere condolences to Pat, his sisters, brother and extended family. John was a wonderful man and a true gentleman.
