Not sure what to say?

My Mom was an amazing woman, realizing all her accomplishment in politics and communities in NY and FL, but as we celebrate home going in FL July 6th, just hearing how she touched so many lives and guide them to Jesus Christ was the most AMAZING for me, seeing our Glenham family come to join us was special, My Mom will forever be in my heart, and I know that she is with the Lord by how she lived her life. Thank everyone for the condolences and memories of Mom, Celebrating her Life and...

A phenomenal woman of God and a beautiful woman inside & out. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Job well done faithful servant.

My condolences to the Powell family. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Debe Greene and family.

Rest in Peace Dear Mother Powell... you are with the Lord now. Prayers for the family we love you.. Pastor Gartrell and Lorraine Gartrell

Condolences to the family. Lee Anna was one very busy lady and I'm sure she touched hearts wherever she went. May she rest in peace.

Grandma I miss you so much already. Just to give an insight to how much she meant to us. I could call her and she would give me just what I needed. If it was advise or prayer. She also kept us educated on our government and our community. She was an amazing woman. She told me years ago Barack Obama would be our first black President. This is back when he was in Chicago. She shared everything she had if it was knowledge or religion. She made sure we all knew Jesus. Grandma I thank you for...

My sincerest condolences for your loss. Knowing the Powell family was a significant part of life growing up in Glenham. God Bless. Jim LaColla

I played with Joe in Fishkill Little League and he was a class act so when I saw the name I read the obit. What an incredible life she lived always giving to and doing for others. Sincere condolences to the family and the communities she made better with her generousity and kindness. May her memories comfort your loss, ease your pain and guide you to follow her examples. I am out of state and unfortunately unable to pay my repsects in person. God Bless.

Mommy,
My heart is so broken but, I know you are happy in heaven with Dad. I loved you so much but, God loved you more. As you have told me so many times. This is not our Home.
