Not sure what to say?

To all the Travis kids,
We are so sorry about your Dad! We always referred to you all as cousins and loved your Mom and Dad. Somehow, we did not find out about your Dads' passing until yesterday. We are so sorry for missing seeing you all and paying our respects to your Dad. Although we were not there, and we are very disappointed that we missed the services, that does not mean that we are not thinking of him and praying for each of you. We send our love, prayers and have great memories...

Dear Linda and family,

Rodger and I have such wonderful memories of going to the Travis house and feeling so welcomed as teenagers. Your Mom and Dad were such funny and caring people. They always made all of us feel so welcome. Wish we could be there for you and yours. Our love goes out to your all. Angie & Rodger

I wish to express my sincerest gratitude to grandpa (and grandma) for instilling us all with the values of love, kindness, inquisitiveness, compassion, acceptance, and forgiveness as well as imparting his infectious appreciation for the natural world.
His enduring respect and awe for life and nature, coupled with his restless, inquisitive mind, has deeply inspired me. It will be a pleasure to live out my life in honor of the values that he and now I represent.
Thank you,...

I was proud to work with John Travis,
a fine officer and a fine gentleman.
He was a credit to the CFD !
