My condolences along with the Merle Murray Family for the passing of John. John worked with me getting my God and Country Award, many years ago for Scouting. It takes a year of hard work to receive it. I am very thankful for his guidance during that time. It was well worth it and I did learn a lot about 1ST Christian Church also.

So sorry for the loss of your dad. I lost mine in 2010 so I know what it feels like. Just wanted to say that it was so much fun meeting your dad at Luther Oaks when we met out there for one of our class reunion meetings. Again, I am sorry for your loss, but he is with The Lord now....what better place can he be. Rick

I have many memories of Rev. John Trefzger from my childhood, when he served in Waukegan & Bloomington. He was a dear friend of my parents & grandparents. Bless him for all he did for everyone.
