John was a monumental figure in this lifetime. He was bigger than his mortal body. The world will remember him as the man he was and represented. Ethical, moral, and human, funny, relatable. He was a rock for me and also helped my family. I am forever grateful and humbled by his friendship. Gods speed John.

Such a good friend to my family! Thank you for all the adventures. You always made me smile and laugh. You always had a way of seeing the positives, no matter what was going on.

What a life you had. I was just thinking about you today and remembering all the good times on Lake Lewisville with you. I will remember you as a true gentlemen. You loved your time on that lake and we loved your stories. May you rest in peace my friend.

Had it not been for your engine troubles off South Padre John I would have never met you! You were a class act and genuine to the core! I will toast to you with my friend Crown and Seven in hand!
