Not sure what to say?

John was a good friend to my older brothers and I remember him as a very nice guy that enjoyed going along to my parents deer cabin. We recently watched home movies and I saw him on there at my parents cabin enjoying deer hunting times. I was sorry to hear about this happening and also sorry that I could not attend the services. My heartfelt sympathy goes to all his family.
Love, Susan Kelley-Hess

John: you are truly a great leader for Troop 456 - thanks for the great peppers and salsa

You were more than a Scout to our family. You warmly welcomed my family into yours. You showed my son and my husband so many new and interesting things. You let my little girls ask you many, many questions. You were a gracious host for Family Camp--I'll make sure it's Pennfield. We'll keep an eye on Mary and the rest of the family. "Pappy" we will all miss you. Until we met again.

My deepest sympathies to the family from a Palmyra '56 classmate.
