Can't believe it's been 15 years since I posted my previous message. In the interim my own father passed. He and John worked together on some projects...along with John's father. Dear Dorothy, John, Judy and others:
I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing. It seems like only yesterday I was swimming in the "cement pond" he built in Dalton. I remember him showing us how to fire a pellet gun, catch lightning bugs, hammer nails, do many thing little boys and girls find challenging. Now he's gone...like Sherry Quick and Jimmy and my mother.
