Not sure what to say?

To the Truluck Family!!

John was a wonderful and inspirational man who helped me several times researching 56th Fighter Group information. He was a true Southern gentleman. Right now I am sure he is enjoying seeing his old Squadron mates and will always be "hanger flying" with them forever!!

My best wishes to you all

Mark Copeland

My deepest condolences to the family. His friendship will will always be treasured. As a fellow drugstore cowboy, I have come to know and appreciate this truly Great American.

I behalf of the American Fighter Aces Association, I wish to extend our deepest condolences to John's family. I met him briefly at a 56th FG reunion at an air show near Cleveland, Ohio.

I grew up in Forest Hills and always remember seeing Santa's sleigh on top of Mr. Truluck's roof. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
