John Tuohy, 79, a long-time resident of San Luis Obispo, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005. His son and daughter were at his bedside at his home in Arroyo Grande when he lost his brief, but courageous, battle with cancer. There will be a viewing for family and friends from 1 to 6...
Read MoreI am eleven years younger than my cousin Paul, as we knew him. I am from Chatfield also and his grandfather John Tuohy was the brother of my grandfather Frank Tuohy. I recall the handsome young Navy man and am sorry to have read that he passed away. My sympathies to his family. I have a Tuohy family history and will mark the new entry with regrets.

He was Mr.Tuohy when we met him through Nativity Church, and he quickly became "Grandpa T," our honorary and beloved grandpa who touched and shaped our lives. We were privileged to know and love our Grandpa T. We know he has a special spot waiting for him in Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers--and gratitude-- are extended to the Tuohy Family.
