Ubel, John B., "Jack" age 80, of Inver Grove Heights, on October 3, 2007 John ("Johnny", "Jack") Bertrand Ubel passed peacefully from death to life, into the loving, patient arms of Jesus. He had served as a Minneapolis Police Officer until retiring in 1977. He excelled as a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, with tremendous joy in his children, all of whom share a dedication to serving their personal Savior, Jesus Christ. Married for 59 years to his only love, Veronica ("Vee") who was and is a gift from God, his best friend, partner, and the one who tried to keep the stripes and plaids separate, he leaves a legacy of honor, faithfulness, courage, resolve and never-ending love to four generations. He now awaits with a healthy heart, the reuniting of his family in heaven: his wife, Vee; his children, Rick (Gloria), Viki (Wayne) Erickson, Tracee (Bob) Hannon, Sharon (Doug) Flaten; grandchildren, Jamie (Kelly) Taylor, Justin (Jessica), Travis, Max Erickson, Rebecca Hannon, Tim Hannon, Matthew Flaten; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn; sister, Maurine "Marla" Wahl; niece, and other friends.
